Rancho Santa Fe resident Wendy Walker, executive producer of CNN’s Larry King Live, hosted a brunch at her home for CNN’s Soledad O'Brien, named “Journalist of the Year” at the National Association of Black Journalists’ spring board of directors meeting. 
O'Brien joined other top honorees at the association's Salute to Excellence Gala, held here in San Diego during the NABJ's 35th Annual Convention and Career Fair.
