The Beach and Country Guild presented a day of fabulous bargains, food, and fun surprises to benefit San Diego’s United Cerebral Palsy Assistive Technology Center. The event took place at Fairbanks Village Plaza (perhaps the only place in San Diego not raining that day) and featured cupcakes donated by Cupcake Love, clothing, household items, electronics, and indoor/outdoor furniture. Funds raised exceeded the organization’s first-year goals, and there are plans to make it an annual fundraiser for UCP.
