Lions, Tigers & Bears Big Cat Sanctuary will host Exotic Escapades, an exciting fundraiser presented by the San Diego Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (SD AAZK), on Saturday, October 16. Proceeds from the event will benefit the SD AAZK, with a portion also going to Lions Tigers & Bears.
Guests will mingle with conservation-minded individuals while enjoying entertainment and dining. Exotic cuisine, wine, and beer tasting from local vineyards and breweries will be available as you walk among the animal residents of Lions, Tigers, and Bears.
The opportunity to interact with animal keepers and participate in unique animal experiences will make the event unforgettable. There will also be a live and silent auction, with packages including multiple romantic getaways, Disneyland adventures, golf packages at Riverwalk Golf Course, Inside Look tour at the San Diego Zoo, spa packages, sport fishing adventures, fine art, and much more.
Additionally, many local wineries will be present, including Dube Vineyards from Jamul, Rock Canyon Vineyards located in Alpine, and Serenissima Vineyard from Warner Springs, as well as Stone Brewing Co., located in Escondido.
Exotic Escapades will take place at the Lions Tigers & Bears Sanctuary, located at 24402 Martin Way, Alpine, CA 91901 on Saturday, October 16, from 1-5pm, with the VIP engagement beginning at 12pm. Ticket prices are $120 per person for main event; $220 per person for VIP experience, which includes Champagne reception and personal experience with exotic cats; and $270 per person for special VIP including all of the above plus the opportunity to feed a lion or tiger.
