The 21st Annual Spinoff: Auction for Life, will be held on Thursday, May 31, at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine to benefit patient support services, early detection, education, and outreach at Scripps Cancer Center, Stevens Division. This year, a portion of the proceeds will also benefit the Scripps Polster Breast Care Center.
In keeping with this year’s theme, Champagne et Chocolat, guests can sip Champagne and enjoy chocolate while bidding on luxury items, once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and lavish getaways. The cocktail reception and silent auction begin at 5pm, followed by the live auction, dinner, and presentation.
This year’s honoree will be the Ellen Browning Scripps Foundation, which has consistently supported Scripps Health since 1947.
The 21st Annual Spinoff, chaired by Abeer Hage, commemorates more than two decades of supporting lifesaving care at Scripps Cancer Center, Stevens Division. Treating patients with more than 50 types of cancer, Scripps Cancer Center, Stevens Division is one of the leading oncology centers in the region and relies on Spinoff and other philanthropic support to fund its lifesaving programs and services.
