According to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, approximately one in every 88 children has been identified with an autism spectrum disorder. On Saturday, May 19, from 2-5pm, TERI, Inc. will host its annual fundraiser to help build the Campus of Life — a university-like campus that will serve children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities throughout a lifespan. KUSI’s Brad Perry will serve as emcee, and the event will focus on four of TERI’s many programs — food, music, art, and technology. Enjoy cuisine by Vigilucci’s, Cups La Jolla, and chef Jeff Jackson from The Lodge at Torrey Pines. Musical performers will include Natasha Kozaily, Deblois Millege, and others, and art will be exhibited by Ciomara Franco, Marilyn Huerta, Maria Balingit, Liza Dearhouse, and many more. Tickets are $125 per person or $500 for the Naming Brick Opportunity, which includes two tickets. (760/721-1706, www.teriinc.org/events)
