On Thursday, May 10, from 6-9pm, at the US Grant Hotel, San Diegans are invited to join gala co-chairs Doreen Schonbrun, Kathleen Stoughton, Elizabeth Oliver, and Marla Black at the biggest birthday party of the year, as the San Diego Center for Children celebrates its 125th year of helping some of the most special, most vulnerable, and most at-risk children in San Diego. Proceeds will help fund critical programs and services that help children and teens heal from severely traumatic or abusive situations, as well as mental health challenges. The Center for Children currently serves over 600 children — and many families — across the county, and greatly depends on the generosity of the community to continue many of the programs that enhance the expert therapeutic and academic services provided to these children 365 days a year.
