On Saturday, October 15, from 6-10pm, Brava Creative presents a fundraiser at Coast Highway Photography in Solana Beach to benefit Wine To Water, a nonprofit aid organization that provides clean water and sustainable systems to needy people around the world. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with Doc Hendley, founder and president of Wine To Water and a Top Ten CNN Hero for 2009; Jay Kopelman, Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Marine Corps and the bestselling author of From Baghdad, With Love: A Marine, the War, and a Dog Named Lava; Chef Jeff of Taste Culinary; and award-winning photographer Kevin M. Connors. Hendley will share his story and explain how charitable donations fund projects in countries including Uganda, Haiti, and Cambodia.
