On Friday December 3, from 5:30-9:30pm, Ghana Africa International Operations (GAIO) presents a fundraiser at Fixtures Living to help put a roof on the Akwatia Library. Enjoy international cuisine and BRIX Ghanaian chocolate served at Fixtures’ wrap-around bar, and entertainment provided by the award-winning Ghanaian musician Selasee. There will also be a live auction, a fashion show produced by Blew-Print featuring African cowboy designs using Ghanaian materials, Stone Brewery and St. Petersburg vodka tastings, raffle prizes, live DJ Elizabeth Allen, wine tasting, and a special auction of original photographs of the children of Akwatia.

 

GAIO is a San Diego-based nonprofit dedicated to the construction of a new library and cultural center benefiting families and children of Akwatia, Ghana.
