Promises2Kids’ Summer Concert Gala takes place on Wednesday, June 2, from 6:30-10:30pm, at the private estate of Joan Waitt. The event will feature an unplugged performance by four-time Grammy Award-winner Pat Benatar and renowned guitarist Neil Giraldo, as well as a sit down dinner provided by the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine and a silent/live auction. Concert gala tickets are $250 for general admission or $475 for VIP. This year’s event co-chairs are Ann and Ben Haddad, and the honorary co-chairs are Mayor Jerry Sanders and our gracious hostesses Joan Waitt. Originally founded as the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation of San Diego County, Promises2Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the fight against child abuse and neglect in San Diego County. Promises2Kids offers a broad array of support systems and myriad opportunities to connect with a wide variety of resources, programs, and collaborative partners focused on eliminating child abuse.
