On Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, Freedom Is Not Free and the USS Midway Museum present a pre-DVD release of the critically acclaimed movie The Hurt Locker to raise funds and awareness for our wounded warriors and their families, and the families of the fatally wounded. Doors open at 6pm.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal experts will be on hand to answer questions relative to the movie and guests will enjoy a raffle and silent auction opportunities including a Harley-Davidson rental donated by San Diego Harley-Davidson.
This Veterans Day will be especially moving as we honor not only our fallen and living veterans, but also those who were murdered during the recent terror attack at Ft. Hood, TX. This special occasion takes place just one day after the Marine Corps’s 234th birthday. (619/544-9600, www.midway.org)
