The Jonathan Tarr Foundation will host Windows to the World, a tribute and benefit luncheon, on Saturday, November 7, at the Handlery Hotel & Resort. Founded in memory of the generous spirit of a North County high school student who was killed in a car accident in 1998, the foundation honors dedicated individuals who promote the welfare, dignity, and education of San Diego County’s diverse population of students. This year’s Humanitarian Award recipient is Tula Mapuana Striffler, who has dedicated herself to the betterment of the community by volunteering with numerous clubs and organizations. Guests will enjoy a Parade of Nations fashion show, delicious lunch, silent auction, raffles, and opportunity drawings. Individual tickets are $50 and sponsor tickets range from $100-$1,000.
