The San Diego Chamber Orchestra will celebrate its 25th season with a silver jubilee fundraising event, The Magic of Music, on March 28 at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa, with Elaine Darwin and Teresa O’Connor serving as co-chairs, Kimberly King as mistress of ceremonies, and Bill Menish as auctioneer. Under the leadership of maestro Jung-Ho Pak, the orchestra has created a sensation with its vision of making classical music relevant in today’s world through programming and extraordinary experiences. Gala festivities will begin at 6pm with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by dinner and dancing to the music of The Heroes and a live auction.
