On Saturday, July 11, at the newly opened Robert Paine Scripps Forum at Scripps Institution for Oceanography, CowParade La Jolla will auction 40 life-sized fiberglass cows featured in the three-month exhibition to raise funds for The Zoological Society of San Diego and Rady Children’s Hospital. “Some of our patients helped design and paint one of the cows for CowParade La Jolla, making this a very special piece of art,” notes David Gillig, executive director and senior vice president for Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation.
