Each year, the Don Diego Scholarship Foundation awards four $5,000 college scholarships to deserving high school seniors. On Thursday, June 28, at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Rancho Santa Fe residents Bob Spanjian, Jon Liss, Roxanna Fox, Leslie Barone, and Susan Farrior will award these scholarships at a fine dining and gala reception featuring Creedence Clearwater. During the cocktail hour and silent auction, 2003 scholarship winner Alysha Stehly will present her Vesper Vineyards wines, grown locally here in San Diego.
