Cardiff Schools Education Association (Cardiff SEA) presents Black & White by the Sea on Saturday, March 10, at the Encinitas Community Center. Association co-president Meghan Laurs notes, “This event is essential to our organization as it raises almost 40 percent of our $275,000 annual budget. The funds help pay salaries, keep class sizes small, and provide an enriched curriculum, including PE, technology, science, art, and music for Cardiff kids. Local businesses have stepped up with sponsorships and raffle donations to make our event a magical evening filled with gourmet dining and drinks, live music, and amazing auction items.” Tickets are $80 each.
