On Wednesday, November 9, the Huntington’s Disease Society of America presents its 2011 Celebration of Hope Gala at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and legendary ESPN broadcaster Chris Berman will headline the special program, and The NFL Network’s Rich Eisen, Marshall Faulk, Deion Sanders, and Steve Mariucci will also be in attendance. HDSA-San Diego will honor advisory board member Peggy L. Johnson of Qualcomm for her efforts on behalf of HDSA and families dealing with Huntington’s Disease. Proceeds will benefit the HDSA Center of Excellence for Family Services and Research at UC San Diego in addition to other care and research programs committed to finding a cure for the fatal neurological disease.
