PCI (Project Concern International) presents its annual gala, Hands Across Borders, on November 5, at La Costa Resort & Spa. Enjoy a performance by Grammy Award-winning artists Jose Feliciano and Robert Mirabal. Actor Richard Dreyfuss will present PCI’s new video, with highlights of its life-saving work around the globe. The event will celebrate the organization’s 50-year journey started by James Turpin, MD, who founded PCI when he volunteered his medical services in Tijuana. PCI now operates nearly 100 programs in 16 countries. Turpin will be at the celebration to honor the volunteers as well as CEO George Guimaraes. Gala chair is Anne Otterson.
