On Saturday, June 6, Liam Foundation presents Laugh-In at Anthology in Little Italy, an entertaining night of fundraising for a cure for cystic fibrosis featuring a show that is modeled after the traditional Laugh-In TV series. According to Nancy Hearne, Liam’s mother and the foundation’s executive director, “The skits have been written as a way to inform the audience about the complexity of the disease, the purpose and mission of Liam Foundation, and, of course, to poke fun at the tenuous state of our economy.” After the comedy show, guests will dance the night away to the sounds of Archie and the Archtones.
Liam Foundation is a grassroots endeavor that has raised substantial dollars toward finding a cure for cystic fibrosis and has brought community awareness and involvement through wiffle ball tournaments and gala fundraisers, and continues to work toward enhancing the quality of life for children with cystic fibrosis and their families.
