On Saturday, September 17, from 7-10pm, The Seany Foundation aims to draw much-needed attention to National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by gathering nearly 200 of San Diego’s most impressive community leaders, philanthropists, and professional athletes at Birch Aquarium for the 4th Annual Everything Is Possible Celebration. Tickets to the special event — $150 per person or $1,400 per table of 10 — afford guests delicious cocktails, lively entertainment, a silent/live auction with exciting prizes, and a mouthwatering meal by Jeffrey Strauss of Pamplemousse Grille. Along with raising awareness, the foundation hopes to raise funds to back vital research initiatives and life-enhancing programs for local children with cancer. Local businesses also helping sponsor the event and its noble cause include: Barona Resort & Casino, Eddy Pump Corporation, Medical Center Pharmacy, Kleinfelder, and ProFlowers.

Sean Lewis Robins founded The Seany Foundation in 2005, as he battled his own cancer. Sean fought Ewing sarcoma (a rare bone cancer) for nearly 7 years, until his death in 2006. He was just 22. The Seany Foundation is Sean’s legacy, and continues to work to improve the lives of children, teens, and young adults battling cancer.
