The Seany Foundation is hosting its First Annual Swinging for Seany Golf Tournament at the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club on Monday, May 23, from 10am-8pm. San Diego Chargers Steven Gregory and Vincent Jackson will be in attendance as well as professional golfer Maiya Tanaka.
The event is being hosted in order to help raise awareness about the vital need for improved treatments and cures for children battling rare pediatric cancers. Due to a severe lack of funding for childhood cancers, the Seany Foundation hopes the golf tournament will raise money for vital projects and research.
Participation in the event costs $250 per single golfer and $1,000 per foursome. This fee includes the use of the private club and practice facilities, green fee, cart, gift bag, lunch, cocktails, dinner, and auction. (617/416-1140, www.theseanyfoundation.org/golf)
