The San Diego Chapter of Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA) will hold its annual Shoot To Cure HD outdoor party on Friday, June 3 at Chargers Park in San Diego. Featuring a night of crazy speed-free-throw shooting, attendees also will enjoy tours of the San Diego Chargers’ practice facility. Rock 105.3 FM’s Mike Costa and Eddie Pappani, XTRA Sports 1360’s Brian Wilson, and Cookie “Chainsaw” Randolph from Jack FM will emcee the fun.
Doors open at 6pm for delicious food and drinks from some of San Diego’s favorite eateries including Brigantine, Peohe’s, Rubio’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Centerplate Catering, Vitamin Water, Hilton Bayfront, Tilted Kilt, L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, SmokeHouse Grills Catering, Panera Bread, Wings n’ Things, and Barefoot Wine; incredible prizes and auction items, and tours of Chargers Park. During the fun games and audience participation, guests can bid on vacation packages to La Costa Resort & Spa and La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, sports memorabilia including autographed jerseys, dining at San Diego’s finest restaurants, and many more unique items such as a personal fitting from TaylorMade Performance Labs.
Proceeds from the event benefit the HDSA Center of Excellence for Family Services and Research at the University of California, San Diego in addition to other care and research programs committed to finding a cure for the fatal neurological disease.
