In honor of Pregnancy Awareness Month, Mamafest 2011 comes to La Jolla Country Club on May 20, from 6:30-9:30pm, for an evening of activities and enrichment geared toward local moms. Presented by San Diego-based Stroller Strides, the early night out guarantees an abundance of shopping, speakers, giveaways, and good eats, all in support of The San Diego Postpartum Health Alliance, a nonprofit organization committed to increasing awareness about postpartum emotional disorders and providing support as needed. Guests will enjoy a myriad of vendor booths geared towards savvy moms, a cash bar, enticing cuisine, and an array of samples, giveaways, and free information on the most pressing topics of motherhood.
