Sample delicious dishes from San Diego’s finest restaurants, resorts, and catering companies in celebration of Mama’s Day on May 8. Nearly 65 culinary participants will join in Taste the Joy of Caring, the 18th annual celebration to benefit Mama’s Kitchen, which prepares and delivers three meals a day, seven days a week at no cost to San Diegans affected by critical illnesses such as AIDS, cancer, and diabetes. As a tribute to the many restaurants and guests whose participation makes Mama’s Kitchen’s efforts possible, attendees will enjoy a vast array of food and music, and special appearances by culinary host Sam “The Cooking Guy,” as well as Top Chef’s Brian Malarkey and Richard Sweeney.
