Volunteers will come together at Del Norte High School on Saturday, November 6, to fight the war on hunger. Joining San Diego’s Friends & Family Community Connection (FFCC), a nonprofit organization, they will attempt to assemble 200,000 nutritious non-perishable chicken casserole meals that will be distributed to families in need in San Diego, Mexico, Haiti, and Tanzania, Africa. You must register to participate. One-hour blocks of time may be secured online. An additional opportunity to volunteer takes place on November 28 in Escondido.
