On Thursday, October 28, from 6pm-10pm, Passport to Africa will be an intimate benefit where attendees will experience the journey to hope, justice, and transformation in rural Uganda. At the Rancho Santa Fe home of John and Maria Assaraf (featured in the hit movie, The Secret) guests will enjoy African music, a live auction, and fine dining. This year’s guest of honor will be Sister Ernestine Akulu, who will be coming from Uganda, East Africa to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for her fierce commitment, love, dedication, and work for the communities and children of Uganda.
