On Friday, May 7, Mama’s Kitchen presents its annual restaurant tasting benefit event featuring more than 70 of San Diego’s top restaurants and chefs. Taking place at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine, the event will help Mama’s Kitchen continue cooking and delivering hot nutritionally-specific meals free of charge to men, women, and children throughout San Diego County affected by HIV/AIDS or cancer. Event co-chairs are Scott Gardner, Jennifer Kearns, and Todd Gabello. The culinary host is Sam “The Cooking Guy” Zien. Emcee is Vic Salazar, former NBC 7/39 anchor and current president/CEO of Vic Salazar Communications.
