On Sunday, April 18, from 10am-12pm, at Belmont Park in Mission Beach, the Southern California Aveda Earth Day Beach Cleanups will come together with The Surfrider Foundation as part of a global initiative that acknowledges the daily struggle of over one billion people around the world who do not have access to clean water — that’s 1 in 7 people. This year’s beach cleanups will unite Southern California residents and local Aveda Salons and encourage them to raise awareness and funds for clean water.
