On Saturday, March 20, Soroptimist International of San Diego presents its 38th annual fundraising event at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. Attendees will enjoy a theatrical fashion show by Gretchen Productions, boutique shopping, luncheon, and the presentation of the 2010 Soroptimist Ruby Award — For Women Helping Women. NBC 7/39’s Rory Devine will serve as emcee. The five local women who will be honored are Dilkhwaz Ahmed (License to Freedom), Teri Burg (StandUp For Kids), Margaret Eilerman (community advocate and counselor), Susie Faber (Stylish Noggins), and Cyndi Jones (The Center for an Accessible Society).
