St. Paul's LUV Gala will be a relaxed and happy affair. The theme is “Endless Summer of LUV,” promising an evening of fun and San Diego surf culture. Fittingly, the party site is the Paradise Point Resort & Spa. This year’s honorees are Patti Roscoe and Jim Tiffany, who have endlessly contributed time and support to St. Paul’s, as well as myriad other causes. Marilyn MacNair is chair.
LUV (Love Uniting Volunteers) provides loving support for seniors in our community in the form of ice cream socials, holiday gift bags, and more. St. Paul’s Episcopal Home, Inc., now St. Paul’s Senior Homes & Services, has evolved over time and now consists of the Manor, Villa, McColl Health Center, Intergenerational Day Care Program, and PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly). PACE offers a day care center for elders and provides medical care and rehabilitation therapies in a large separate facility. This summer will welcome the highly anticipated opening of a second PACE program, located in a new site in South Bay. (619/239-6900, www.stpaulseniors.org/luvgala)
