The 15th annual San Diego Festival of Beer returns Friday, September 18, from 6-11pm, with more brews to taste than ever before. This charity event is the oldest and largest beer tasting in all of San Diego, and this year, attendees can choose from 120 microbrews from 60 breweries. The 100 percent volunteer-driven festival is produced by San Diego Professionals Against Cancer, a nonprofit dedicated to generating monies for cancer research, patient treatment, and services. Advance tickets are $25 and include ten beer tastes; day-of tickets are $30. (www.sdbeerfest.org) JANE SHIOMI
