The Gaslamp Quarter Association presents the 19th annual Taste of Gaslamp, an urban culinary self-guided tour, on Saturday, June 9, and Sunday, June 10, from 1-4pm. The event features over 30 Gaslamp Quarter dining venues on each day, as well as the picturesque Beer Garden presented by Samuel Adams (for guests 21 and older) at Altitude Sky Lounge atop the San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter.
The Gaslamp Quarter is known for its plethora of diverse restaurants and dining establishments, ranging from Persian to Italian, Asian Fusion to Azerbaiijan, Irish to Indian, Spanish to Thai, and so much more. The Taste of Gaslamp is the perfect opportunity for guests to globe-trot from plate to plate, revisiting their favorite veterans of the Gaslamp Quarter’s dining scene to the fresh faces that have recently opened.
Tickets are currently available for purchase online, starting at the discounted advance price of $30 per person per day, and include tastings at all participating restaurants. Purchase tickets now as this veritable smorgasbord sells out in advance each year. In addition to the two- to four-ounce samples from each restaurant, attendees will also receive a keepsake Taste of Gaslamp Recipe Book, which highlights favorite recipes from participating Taste of Gaslamp venues. Proceeds from this exciting event will go towards the Gaslamp Quarter Association’s ongoing promotional programs and efforts to enhance and protect this national historic district.
