On Wednesday, May 23, from 6:30-8:30pm, La Valencia Hotel presents an extraordinary B Cellars Wine Dinner on its pool deck. Leading the wine dinner will be famed guest chef and wine educator Christina Machamer, CIA, alum and winner of Fox TV’s Hell's Kitchen. On loan from Napa Valley’s B Cellars, the world renowned yet cozy Calistoga tasting salon, she will team up with La Valencia’s food and beverage director Andrew Mosblech and executive chef Lance Repp for a casual and interactive gathering of discriminating foodies and wine lovers.

 

The trio will blend the finest Mediterranean fare with B Cellars’ exciting new releases, including Blend 23, and first time bottling of a vineyard designated Sauvignon Blanc. For reds, the dinner will feature B Cellars’ 2008 Blend 24, and La Valencia’s three-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, aka Syn3rgy. The cost of the dinner is $65 (plus tax and gratuity). (858/551-3761)
