Save the date for Saturday, May 5, for the 31st Annual Celebrity Chefs Cook Gala: Epicurean Elegance, to benefit the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center. The delicious evening kicks off at 6pm at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, and will feature award-winning local and out-of-town chefs cooking for a cause — the quest to cure cancer. Guests will visit each chef’s station to sample signature hors d’oeuvres paired with complementary wines. Participating chefs to date include: James Boyce (Cotton Row, Huntsville, AL), Mario Cassini (Bice), Jean Michel Diot (Tapenade), Kevin Gillespie (Woodfire Grill, Atlanta, GA), Bernard Guillas (The Marine Room), Chris Karetas (Carriage Trade Catering), Chad White (Gabardine), and Martin Woesle (Mille Fleurs). Featured wineries include: Banfi Vintners, Daou Vineyards and Winery, X Winery, Maddalena Winery, Witch Creek Winery, Ramey Wine Cellars, and Handley Cellars.
