On Wednesday, October 26, from 6:30–8pm, Toast Enoteca & Cucina is hosting a Halloween Wine Masquerade as part of Behind the Label, the restaurant’s monthly wine tasting and culinary pairing series. Toast helps guests get into the fall Halloween spirit by providing special Venetian-style masquerade masks. During the event a wine connoisseur will pair four wines with four of chef Martin Gonzalez’s fall-inspired appetizer-sized dishes, while educating guests on the flavor and place of origin of each wine they taste.
Toast’s Halloween Masquerade Wine Tasting is $30 per person, which includes four wines paired with four appetizers and Toast masks for guests to keep! Participants also receive ten percent off their bill if they choose to stay for dinner afterward. Space is limited and reservations are required. (619/269-4207)
