Rescheduled for 9/15 due to the blackout!

The Downtown Encinitas MainStreet Association (DEMA) presents the 22nd Annual Taste of MainStreet on Thursday, September 15, from 6-9pm. This year’s event will feature tastes from 33 downtown restaurants and live music in five locations, all along South Coast Highway 101, from K Street north to Encinitas Boulevard. In addition to new dishes from long-standing favorites, ticket holders can sample food from a handful of new participants, some having just recently opened for business — Cappuccino in the Park, Solace & the Moonlight Lounge, Union Kitchen and Tap, Barracuda Grill, and Whole Foods Market.

Tickets are $25 each, and may be purchased at the DEMA office or online. Limited to 1,000 attendees, tickets always sell out prior to the event, so don’t delay. The restaurants will begin sampling food at 6pm and will serve anyone with an event ticket until 9pm, or until they run out of food. The three-hour window allows you to take your time and enjoy downtown Encinitas as you walk down Highway 101. It also provides time for stopping along the way to enjoy the music, do some shopping, or have a drink. (www.encinitas101.com)
