Mark your calendars for the fifth annual San Diego International Beer Festival, which takes place on June 24-26 at the 2011 San Diego County Fair. In just five short years, the San Diego International Beer Festival has become one of the largest in the country, with more than 150 breweries and 350 beers from around the world. In 2010, 15 states and 22 countries participated in the weekend festival. For an extra-special way to enjoy the festival, try the brand-new Brewers Lounge on Saturday from 3:30-8pm. In a glass-fronted, private room overlooking the festival, you'll be able to meet the brewers, eat great food, enjoy a dozen of the award-winning brews, and go home with souvenirs.
