The Del Mar Village Association (DMVA) presents its annual Summer Solstice event on Thursday, June 17, from 5-8pm at Powerhouse Park. Attendees will enjoy the rhythmic music of Salsa Steel along with stunning ocean views. Many of Del Mar’s finest restaurants including Americana, Kitchen 1540, Pacifica Del Mar, and Sbicca will offer delectable appetizers. This year, attendees will also have the opportunity to savor culinary creations from Doreen Fang and Aarti Sequeira, two finalists from season six of The Next Food Network Star, the popular Food Network series hosted by Bobby Flay, airing Sundays at 9pm. There will also be selections from many of California’s most noted wineries and breweries, as well as a chance to bid on many one-of-a-kind items and opportunities.
