Taste of Opera offers an introduction to San Diego Opera’s 2010 season via festive cooking classes at Great News Discount Cookware and Cooking School. On Friday, January 15, guests will work with chef Katherine Emmenegger to create Spicy Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Artichoke Bottoms; Carnival Salad; Stuffed Cornish Hens with Calvados Fig Confit; Chenin Blanc Glazed Carrots; and Chocolate Grand Marnier Crepes while Nicolas Reveles entertains and discusses the fine points of La traviata.
