On Wednesday, March 24, at 6pm, the annual Shuck and Swallow competition returns to LoungeSix atop Hotel Solamar downtown. Hosted by Jsix Restaurant and its chef, Christian Graves, the wildly fun event features ten duos — one shucker and one swallower each — from San Diego restaurants including Jsix, Pacifica Del Mar, Water’s Fine Catering, Quarter Kitchen, The Oceanaire Seafood Room, and 1500 Ocean in a competition to see who can open and eat the most oysters in ten minutes.
