The Cooks Confab, a collection of innovative San Diego chefs, comes together on Sunday, March 7, from 10am-1pm, to present Egg!, a culinary affair hosted by chef Trey Foshee of George’s at the Cove. The egg, once considered solely a breakfast food, has become a primary ingredient in chef’s dishes around the world. Participating chefs include Trey Foshee, Jeff Jackson of A.R. Valentien, Andrew Spurgin of Waters Fine Catering, Jason Knibb of Nine-Ten, Brian Sinnot of 1500 Ocean, and others. Ticket prices are $80 and $5 from every ticket is donated to Slow Food Urban San Diego.
