On Thursday, May 10, from 6:30-9:30pm, the Rancho Santa Fe Unit of Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary, Roberto Coin, Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, and Ranch & Coast Magazine present a special pre-Mother’s Day reception at Park Hyatt Aviara. Enjoy an evening of mingling and shopping, wine and appetizers in the adjacent lobby lounge, and special opportunity prizes to benefit Rady Children’s Hospital — San Diego. Peruse the Roberto Coin collection, and have your photo taken wearing your favorite “wish list” pieces. Photos will then be given to spouses and gift givers as inspiration. Roberto Coin has committed to donating ten percent of sales generated from the event to Rady Children’s Hospital (sales must be processed by May 31 to be eligible).
The reception will also feature an exhibition by veteran photographer Bill Keane, who, in the past year or so, has photographed seven anchors and reporters for area news stations who have given birth to “news babies.” Nichelle Medina of CBS8; Heather Myers, Courtney Dwyer, and Sabrina Fein of San Diego6; Monica Dean of NBC7; and Shally Zomorodi and Chrissy Russo of Fox5 are some of the famous faces that will be on display alongside their young ones. Photos will be on view to help promote the “Little Stars Cutest Kids Contest,” kicking off this month to raise money and awareness for Rady Children’s Hospital. Keane will donate photo session fees of $24 per child to Rady Children’s Hospital, and the public can vote for their favorites online for $1 a vote. Winners will be announced this summer.
