At 8am on Tuesday, March 9, Dash To “I Do” will enlist local brides-to-be to go head-to-head in their formal wear for a chance to benefit charity and win the ultimate pre-wedding package. Contestants’ gently used formal wear, as well as formal wear donated by the general public during the event, will go towards supporting the efforts of the San Diego chapter of The Princess Project — a nonprofit organization that provides free prom dresses and accessories to high school girls in need. The brides-to-be will make a mad dash across the sands of Beach at W Hotel San Diego to a colossal display of beautifully wrapped “wedding gifts.” Participants will quickly unwrap the gifts to find the winning “I Do!” note for the grand prize of the ultimate San Diego luxury weekend.
