The community is invited to participate in the 35th annual Ice Cream Social fundraiser for the Cardiff School District from 10am-3pm on Saturday, May 7, at Cardiff Elementary School. The event will include games, prizes, an activity zone, entertainment, a flash mob, petting zoo, silent auction, food, a cake-walk, and of course, ice cream. This year’s theme is “Peace, Love, and Ice Cream,” and custom-designed T-shirts will be available. Proceeds benefit the Cardiff Schools Education Association (SEA), a volunteer, nonprofit organization that funds high-quality school programs including technology, science, physical education, art, music, and class size reduction.
