In collaboration with the 2010 San Diego Science Festival, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center presents Star Party on Thursday, March 25, at 6pm. Attendees of all ages will have the chance to peer at the universe through large telescopes, meet an engineer who worked with NASA contractors for over a decade, and see the new IMAX film Hubble. Guest speaker Laura A. Burns worked on the James Webb Space Telescope and the Landsat Data Continuity Mission, and she will introduce the film and share her NASA experiences with the audience. After the lecture, “Star Viewing” will be provided by the San Diego Astronomy Association outside. This all ages event costs $8.50. (www.rhfleet.org)
