The 16th annual Holiday of Lights opens at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Thanksgiving night and will feature more than 400 lighted animated scenes along a 1.5-mile drive around the Del Mar Racetrack. With returning favorites like Toyland and Candy Cane Lane, this holiday tradition will continue through Sunday, January 2. Holiday Hayrides take place Friday nights from 5:30-8:30pm and include hot chocolate or cider, and a cookie. Enjoy music and carolers while roasting marshmallows before boarding the hayride in the paddock. Santa’s Pub and Piano Bar will offer holiday spirits.
