Mission San Luis Rey, a nonprofit organization and National Historic Landmark, will host the region’s largest Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) festival on Halloween. Artists, dancers, musicians, students, and families will come together for a celebration of Latino culture. The tenth annual celebration of this vibrant tradition will be a colorful display as it aims to represent a day to honor passed loved ones. This free family-friendly event will commence at 10am and continue until 4pm. Enjoy more than 75 vendors, musical performances, a symbolic procession, beautifully decorated altars, food, and more.
