Nativity Prep Academy, located on Market Street in San Diego, will host Breakfast for Champions, a community breakfast at the Del Mar Fairgrounds Mission Tower Ballroom, on Wednesday, March 3, from 7:30-8:30am, free of charge. The public is encouraged to discover what makes the school’s academic model that breaks the cycle of crime, drugs, and poverty so successful. Nativity Prep Academy combats a 50 percent area high school dropout rate with a successful program that sends 80 percent of its inner-city children to college. Its proven structure includes a ten-hour school day, summer school, small classes, family counseling, weekly support while in high school, and numerous field trips outside of the children’s barrio neighborhoods.
