Join the Rancho Santa Fe Rotary and Kids Korps USA for San Diego’s first eco-inspired charity golf tournament, Swing for Kids, taking place on September 3, at 12:30pm, at the prestigious Del Mar Country Club. Enjoy a great day of golf while raising funds and awareness for organizations that support youth in serving community, youth and teens at risk, and children of parents serving in the military. Event proceeds will support: The Rancho Santa Fe Rotary, Kids Korps USA, The Friends of San Pasqual Academy, Pro Kids Golf Academy, and Armed Services YMCA.
The tournament will also promote Kids Korps’ Green Korps environmental volunteer initiative presented by Sempra Energy Foundation. The Green Korps initiative engages youth, teens, and their families in the restoration and preservation of natural habitats and energy conservation through countywide volunteer based environmental education and outreach.
The tournament will include foursomes (matching former NHL All-Star Randy Burridge and former NHL player Jean-Francois Jomphe with members of the military), a hole-in-one prize for a new Honda Insight Hybrid provided by Hoehn Honda of Carlsbad, post-tournament reception, and dinner.
