On Monday, June 7, the 14th annual Conner’s Cause for Children Golf Classic will take place at The Crossings in Carlsbad to benefit families with the monumental task of caring for a child with a life-threatening illness. Despite a skeleton staff and limited resources, Conner’s Cause helps more than 300 area families each year to pay for co-payments, prescriptions, and special equipment not covered by insurance, as well as assistance with transportation and food costs, utility bills, and other basic household expenses. Entry fee is $195 per golfer and includes greens fees with cart, box lunch, dinner, tee prizes, contests, and more. Advance registration is required. Please call Karen Gliner or register online.
