Casa de Amparo, a San Diego nonprofit known for leadership in the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect, will hold its 11th Annual Fore the Casa Kids Golf Tournament on Monday, August 15, at Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Resort & Spa. “The tournament is a great day on the greens for golfers, but the real winners are the abused and neglected children who, with help from Casa de Amparo, are able to heal and look forward to brighter futures, ” notes Mark Allyn, tournament chair. Victoria Barrera is auction chair. Player check in starts at 10:30am with a $5,000 Putting Contest promptly at 11am. A shotgun start follows lunch at 12:30pm and the day ends with a silent auction and awards dinner at 5pm.
